Making a biography of the landscapes
Recently, 2005·Chinese Painting Art Symposium sponsored by the Yunnan Artist Association and Dali Jade Cabbage Cultural Diffusion Co., Ltd ended in Dali, Yunnan province. During the seminar, artists held different views, but the Yunnan traditional Chinese painting should strengthen the team construction, encourage the learning, and build the communication platform.
Zhongxiang Li said: Dali famous painting “Great Painting Scroll by Shengwen Zhang” and “Cangyuan Mural Painting” is a key point in researching the traditional Chinese painting in Yunnan province. Zhiping Zhang said: there is no reason for us to abandon the tradition. Jiandong Sun said: Chinese painting creation should be close to the people, while improving the taste of the academic. Guo You said: Yunnan artists should focus on the life and the world. Jiande Xu said: innovative spirit is the eternal source of human development, so do the art. Peng Yun said: Yunnan’s nature was full of emotion, which easily touched the human to let them loving the place. The painting had to be linked with the era. Li Ping said: it’s necessary and significant for us to make a landscape biography in Yunnan province. Huairu Guo said: Chinese painters should pay attention to the contemporary life. Yongle Chen said: the essence of the artistic innovation is: the learning of diverse cultural, and the tolerance of creative attitude.
When this seminar was holding, the Dali Bai Nationality Autonomous Prefecture Museum displayed 84 newly created works and printed a delicate picture album. The company’s chairman Jingsong Dong said: "the Chinese painting is the quintessence of traditional Chinese culture, the Chinese national spirit, and the accumulation of life and the extension. Its development direction is similar with our company's tenet. As an enterprise, we have to do something for the Chinese characteristics literary and artistic creation to accumulate the enterprise culture spirit while creating benefits.
